Rodgers thinks about being a Tiger every day

On Tuesday Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott stopped by to see All-American Amari Rodgers.

“It went very well. He came by early to the school.  Then after school he came and had dinner with me and my parents.  We had a good visit.  We talked about football and academics,” Rodgers told The Clemson Insider.

The Fiesta Bowl came up in the conversations.

“He said Ohio State is a really good team.  Clemson will need to play mistake free and just do what they do,” said Rodgers.

How does Rodgers think the Tigers will do in the Fiesta Bowl?

“I think they will take care of business,” replied Rodgers.

In just a few weeks Rodgers will head to Orlando for the Under Armour All-American game.

“I am super excited.  I look forward to competing with the best and enjoying the whole experience.  I have been training for it all week.  I am working on my foot work and just staying polished and fresh,” said Rodgers.

Rodgers can’t wait to enroll at Clemson and start playing for the Tigers.

“I think about it every day.  Every day I imagine being on campus and in that Clemson uniform.  That motivates me in my workouts.  I want to play next year and help the team win another championship,” said Rodgers.

Dabo Swinney will be coming to visit in January for an in-home visit.  Rodgers plans to take his official visit to Clemson in January.
