TCI caught up with 4-star ATH Kereon Joyner Saturday morning. After an oustanding season Joyner was named the Gatorade South Carolina Player of the Year.
“It feels great. I’m blessed and also thankful,” Joyner told The Clemson Insider.
Three schools are out in front for the junior.
“Louisvlle, South Carolina and NC State,” said Joyner.
The commitment of 5-star Trevor Lawrence has made impact on where Clemson stands with the Fort Dorchester standout.
“In various ways. Everything doesn’t go as planned,” said Joyner.
TCI asked Kereon if he could elaborate.
“As much as I love Clemson University and I would love to be apart of a great organization I won’t be attending Clemson. They are out of my top 5,” said Joyner.
When does the Palmetto standout plan to make his decision?
“June 18,” replied Joyner.
