Clemson will have nine players participating in the NFL Scouting Combine, which will be held Feb. 28 through March 6 at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis, Ind.
The nine former Tigers who will participate in the combine are quarterback Deshaun Watson, running back Wayne Gallman, wide receivers Mike Williams and Artavis Scott, tight end Jordan Leggett, defensive tackle Carlos Watkins, linebacker Ben Boulware, cornerback Cordrea Tankersley and safety Jadar Johnson.
The nine Clemson players invited to the NFL mark the most in the program’s history. The previous high was eight at last year’s combine.
Michigan had the most players invited to combine with 14, followed by Alabama and LSU with 10 each. Clemson, Miami, and Texas A&M each had 9.
