After Charleston Southern tied the game up 1-1 in the top of the third inning on Tuesday evening, the Buccaneers scored four runs in the top of the fourth to take a 5-1 lead.
Clemson did not add any points to the board until Logan Davidson nailed a home run to the left side, scoring Chris Williams and Reed Rohlman.
Rohlman got on base with a single to left center, and Williams singled through the left side to advance Rohlman to second base.
With one out on the board, Davidson hit his sixth home run of the season to cut Charleston Southern’s lead to 5-4 going into the seventh inning.
