Clemson extended its lead to 6-0 on Wake Forest in the bottom of the fifth inning as Reed Rohlman and Logan Davidson hit back-to-back doubles to drive in two runs, while Seth Beer had an RBI single with one out for the third.
After Chase Pinder reached base after being hit by a pitch and then stole second base, Rohlman ripped a double down the right field line to easily score Pinder from second base. Davidson followed with a double to left field to score Rohlman and Beer dropped a single to right field to plate Davidson for a 6-0 lead.
The Tigers eventually ran off Wake starter Donnie Sellers with the three-run inning.
