Following Clemson’s win over N.C. State on Saturday at Carter-Finley Stadium, NC State head coach Dave Doeren complained about Clemson having a laptop on the sideline. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney was asked about the situation during his postgame press conference, when Clemson Director for Sports Information Tim Bourret intervened and said that the laptop belonged to a member of the Tigers’ social media team.
In this edition of What They Are Saying, we look at what is being said on Twitter about the “Laptop Gate”:

Of all the things Dave Doeren had to be upset about tonight, #Clemson social media team using a laptop on the sideline should be a lot lower pic.twitter.com/PGykILBx8O

Someone ask Dave Doeren, Champion of Integrity, if this poor sideline decorum needs to be investigated https://t.co/IVUWNloFQL

To be clear: Dave Doeren, who praised his team for injuring Wayne Gallman last season, thinks a laptop on the sideline is a massive deal

Dave Doeren must be a snowflake, crying and whining when things don't go his way. Guess he needs a hug, counseling and pizza party.

I was taught early on to win with class and lose with class. Apparently Dave Doeren wasn't taught a similar lesson. Wow.
