A pair of talented sophomore prospects from Oakleaf High in Orange Park, Fla., received offers from Clemson on Tuesday.
Class of 2020 defensive end Chantz Williams told TCI that he and 2020 offensive lineman teammate Jalen Rivers have been offered by the Tigers.
Both Williams and Rivers competed at the Dabo Swinney Camp in June and visited Clemson for games this season.
Williams (pictured above) said the offer from the defending national champions is big for him.
“It feels great,” he said. “This is one offer I was waiting for.”
Williams (6-4, 212) and Rivers (6-5, 325) account for more than two dozen offers combined. Each have been offered by schools such as Alabama, Georgia, Miami and South Carolina. Both are rated as four-star prospects.
