Clemson offers big-time CB prospect

Virginia Beach (Va.) Bishop Sullivan Catholic four-star cornerback Sheridan Jones announced an offer from Clemson on Thursday evening.

“Blessed to receive another offer from Clemson University,” Jones wrote in a Twitter post.

Jones (6-1, 165) also announced Thursday that he has reclassified from the Class of 2020 to the 2019 class. He was the top-ranked cornerback in the 2020 class according to 247Sports.

In addition to Clemson, Jones lists power conference offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

Jones earned an invitation to the 2019 Under Armour All-American Game on Thursday. He was recently named to the 2017 MaxPreps Sophomore All-American Team.
