William Perry laughs about false report of his death

By

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Former Clemson star William “The Refrigerator” Perry was in Greenville Thursday afternoon with his brother, Michael Dean, as part of the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame Legends speaker series at the Embassy Suites.

On April 14, 2013, it was falsely reported by another Clemson fan site that Perry had passed away. The Chicago Tribune, who covered William from his Chicago Bears days, picked up the story before it was shot down by Clemson and William himself on Twitter.

William said on Thursday people say and report crazy things about him a lot and he just laughs about it and moves on.
