TCI Hitter-of-the Week #8 Logan Davidson
The sophomore shortstop from Charlotte, NC went 3-for-8 (.375) in four games last week to earn his first hitter-of-the-week award in 2018. Davidson had a double, homer, two RBI, six runs, 10 walks, a HBP, and was 2-for-2 on stolen bases for a .875 slugging percentage and a .737 on-base percentage.

The senior from Venice, FL earned his first pitcher-of-the-week award of the season for his work out of the bullpen last week. In two appearances, Miller allowed one run on six hits (.222 OBA) with four walks and five strikeouts in 8.0 innings while earning one save.

Clemson, ranked as high as sixth in the country, beat Winthrop in extra innings at home on Tuesday before winning two of three games against South Carolina in the team’s annual traveling rivalry series over the weekend. The Tigers outscored the opponents 24-19 despite being outhit .261 (37 hits) to .234 (30 hits). On the week, Clemson had four doubles, one triple, six homers, 26 walks, and two HBPs against 42 strikeouts while going 4-4 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 3.44 ERA, allowing 19 runs (14 earned) in 36.2 innings with 20 walks against 24 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .964 clip, committing six errors in 165 chances.
