An elite 2019 quarterback visited Clemson on Friday and picked up an offer from the Tigers while on campus.
Avon (Conn.) Avon Old Farms four-star Taisun Phommachanh announced the offer from Clemson on Friday night.
Phommachanh (6-4, 210) is ranked among the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country for the class of 2019. He has close to two dozen offers, including ones from Florida, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State and South Carolina.
As a junior last season, Phommachanh threw for 2,253 yards and 25 touchdowns against just one interception. He also ran for 633 yards and 17 more scores.
