Byrd's bomb puts Clemson on the board first

It did not take long for Clemson to get on the board as Grayson Byrd hit a two-run home run in his first at-bat of the game.

Sam Hall and Logan Davidson drew back-to-back walks to lead off the inning but Hall was caught stealing before Byrd’s home run. The Tigers lead the Gamecocks 2-0 going into the second inning.
