Tigers start season on Feb. 7

Clemson softball coach John Rittman sat down with The Clemson Insider for an exclusive interview Thursday as the Tigers get set for their inaugural season.

Rittman previews the 2020 season and what the feeling is like to start a program from scratch. Clemson will play its first game on Feb. 7 against St. Johns in the UCF Black & Gold Tournament in Orlando.

The Tigers will play their home opener on Feb. 12 against Western Carolina. First pitch is set for 2:30 p.m.

Clemson will host its first-ever Fan Day at the Clemson Softball Stadium on Saturday. The event begins at 2 p.m. with gates opening at approximately 1:30 p.m.
