Liberty took the lead in Friday’s opener when it plated a run in the top of the fourth inning. However, the Flames’ lead didn’t last long as the Tigers tied the game in the bottom of the inning at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Clemson shortstop Sam Hall hit a solo home run to left center for the first run of the season for the Tigers.
