Tigers surge back to cut early Furman lead

Clemson bounced back in the bottom of the first inning to trim Furman’s lead to 2-1 after an inning of play as Elijah Henderson scored on a sacrifice fly from James Parker.

The Tigers responded well to the deficit with a leadoff double by Henderson, a perfect sacrifice bunt by Kier Meredith to advance him to third and the fly ball to center field that scored Henderson off the bat of James Parker.
