No. 25 Clemson knocked off Cincinnati 5-0 on opening day Friday behind outstanding pitching by starter Davis Sharpe and relief pitcher Mat Clark who allowed one hit each and struck out 15.

Head coach Monte Lee was proud of his team after a great opening day. Lee talked about how COVID-19 protocols altered the typical gamely experience.
