Clemson took an early lead against Virginia at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Elijah Henderson walked to start the bottom of the third.  Kier Meredith laid down a perfect bunt past the pitcher and both runners were safe.  Dylan Brewer walked to load the bases with no outs.  Parker hit a shot to second and Henderson scored.  With two outs Adam Hackenburg singled to center to score Meredity and Brewer.

After three the Tigers led 3-0.
