Former Clemson defensive lineman Bryan Bresee ran the 40-yard dash on Thursday, when defensive linemen and linebackers went through on-field drills at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Bresee recorded an unofficial time of 4.93 seconds on his first 40-yard dash attempt. He also ran a 4.93 on his second attempt.
“That’s outstanding,” NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah said during the network’s coverage of the combine. “And you look at him and what he checked in at, he’s just under 6-6, so 6-5 and change, 298 pounds, and he just rolled off a 4.93.”
Bresee’s official 40 time was later announced as an even better 4.86.
The 2023 NFL Draft will take place April 27-29 in Kansas City, Missouri.
