Top safety prospect picks up Clemson offer on visit

A top safety prospect in the 2024 class visited Clemson on Friday and picked up a new offer.

Northside High School (Warner Robins, Ga.) four-star Ricardo Jones traveled to campus Friday and announced the offer from the Tigers via Twitter on Friday evening.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound rising senior is ranked as the No. 8 safety and No. 95 overall prospect in the country for the 2024 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Clemson joins schools such as Auburn, Florida State, Michigan, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Stanford, South Carolina, Texas and others on Jones’ offer list.
