Clemson makes cut for one of nation’s top corners

Clemson made the cut Monday for a highly touted cornerback prospect from the Peach State.

Parkview High School (Lilburn, Ga.) four-star Jalyn Crawford announced a top 11 that includes Clemson along with North Carolina, Florida, Miami, Georgia Tech, LSU, Texas A&M, Louisville, South Carolina, Tennessee and Auburn.

Crawford (6-1, 180) is ranked as high as the No. 93 overall prospect in the 2024 class by 247Sports, which considers him the nation’s No. 9 cornerback in his class.

Clemson extended an offer to him this past December, and he traveled to campus for the program’s elite junior day in late January.
