Latest AP Poll Released After Week 5

The latest AP Top 25 Poll was released Sunday following Week 5 of the college football season.

Clemson (3-2, 1-2 ACC) remains unranked in the AP Poll following Saturday’s 31-14 win at Syracuse.

The Tigers haven’t been ranked in the AP Poll since dropping out after their 66-17 win over Charleston Southern in Week 2.

Clemson is still among the teams outside of the AP Top 25 receiving votes, with the Tigers getting five votes.

On Saturday, the Tigers won their sixth in a row in the series against Syracuse and improved to 10-2 all-time against the Orange.

True freshman wide receiver Tyler Brown turned in a stellar nine-catch, 153-yard receiving effort, while sophomore quarterback Cade Klubnik finished 23-of-37 for 263 yards and a pair of touchdown passes to lead Clemson to 389 yards of offense on the day.

Defensively, the Tigers recorded a season-high five sacks, had three takeaways and held Syracuse’s offense to two touchdowns and 286 yards.

Prior to its midseason open date, Clemson returns home this Saturday for Homecoming against Wake Forest. Kickoff at Memorial Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. on ACC Network.
