Swinney Has Message for Clemson Fans

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney had a message for Tiger fans during his Sunday evening Zoom conference call with the media.

Swinney knows Clemson fans are “disappointed” with how this season has gone for the Tigers (4-4, 2-4 ACC), but Swinney hopes to see the fan base get behind his team over the final stretch.

“I know our fans are disappointed as well, and I hope that they will just rally behind these guys and support them,” Swinney said. “These guys, they’re playing hard, and just continue to support these guys as they get ready to go compete. We’ve got three straight weeks in the Valley, and we need to do everything we can to help these guys.”

Clemson kicks off its three-game November homestand when the Tigers face 12th-ranked Notre Dame this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on ABC.
