A former Clemson standout and current pro showed love to one of the Tigers’ freshmen star defenders via social media this week.
Shaq Lawson, the former Clemson defensive end now with the Buffalo Bills, has clearly been impressed by what he’s seen from T.J. Parker.
Lawson — the 2016 first-round pick who’s in his eighth NFL season — had this to say about Parker in the following post on X (formerly Twitter):
Can’t lie that number 12 from Clemson is a beast bruh. DLU

A disruptive defensive end and former top-50 national prospect from Alabama, Parker enrolled at Clemson in January and has wasted no time making a major impact in his first year as a Tiger.
The 6-foot-3, 255-pounder and Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year semifinalist has been highly productive while tallying 34 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, two pass breakups, seven quarterback pressures and a fumble recovery.
Parker recovered that fumble in Clemson’s win over North Carolina last Saturday when he also recorded two tackles (one for loss) and a sack.
