Clemson lost wide receiver Beaux Collins to the transfer portal, and now he’s set up a visit with a familiar opponent. Collins was the Tigers’ second leading receiver with 38 catches for 510 yards in 2023, and he quickly became a coveted target in the portal.
The Clemson Insider has confirmed that Collins is heading up to South Bend to visit Notre Dame. Collins has played twice against the Irish, and now there’s a chance he joins forces.
Notre Dame lost their top receiver in Chris Tyree, and landing Collins would heavily mitigate that departure. The Tigers aren’t set to take on Notre Dame again until 2027, so a reunion with Clemson is out of the question should he decide to join the Irish.
