2025 Four-star QB Commit Details Visit, OL Recruiting Efforts

Clemson’s Junior Day weekend is a crucial time in the Tigers recruiting process, and Dabo Swinney made a large impact on a commit over the weekend.

2025 four-star quarterback Blake Hebert has been committed to Clemson since last summer, and this was another key moment for him on campus. He shared on social media that it was the “best weekend of his life” but declined to detail that comment just yet.

That said, Hebert spoke to The Clemson Insider about the experience that stuck with him heavily. One message from head coach Dabo Swinney made a large impact on him over the weekend.

“It was a great experience all around! We all got along well and I hope those who are not committed yet can join the family,” Hebert said. “I think coach Swinney’s message stuck with me the most. He quoted the Bible and said “As a man thinketh, so is he”. I think that’s pretty powerful and can be used in all aspects of life.”

While Hebert was visiting, he was playing recruiter with a large group of key offensive line recruits in attendance. That includes the likes of No. 1 player David Sanders among others.

For Hebert, that could be the group standing in front of him when he’s playing quarterback for the Tigers in the near future. He knows that, and it’s why he’s recruiting that group heavily to join him at Clemson.

“Theline is crucial. It would be amazing to get some of those guys,” Hebert said. “David is obviously a great player but he’s also a person you want on the team and in the locker room. He’s a heck of a guy and I think he’d fit perfectly into the Clemson program.”

Time will tell if Hebert’s efforts can help bring some splashes to Clemson, but the impact of this weekend is massive for the Tigers’ efforts in the 2025 class. With the group coming together, Hebert is a key part of it and continues to grow closer and closer to the Clemson program.
