CLEMSON — Clemson got 20 points from Chase Hunter and 18 more from Joe Girard in Wednesday’s 77-60 victory over Miami.
However, it was Jack Clark that quietly filled up the stat sheet in helping the Tigers to their third straight win. The graduate transfer tallied eight points, grabbed six rebounds, had three assists, blocked two shots and recorded two steals.
Clark, who missed 10 games this season due to a groin injury, has slowly worked his way back into the lineup. He admits it took a while to get past the fatigue after missing so many games.
“I was definitely asking for a breather, maybe after a minute or two minutes in,” he said. “But once two or three games happened, I got in my stride and I am good.”
After the game, Clark and Hunter spoke to the media.
