CLEMSON — Clemson outscored Miami by 23 points over the final nine minutes and 50 seconds Wednesday night at Littlejohn Coliseum, as the Tigers rallied for a 77-60 victory over Miami.
Chase Hunter scored a game-high 20 points and had four assists, while Joe Girard added 18 points and five assists to lead the Tigers to their third straight victory.
“Obviously, it was a really fun second half,” Clemson head coach Brad Brownell said. “We played at an unbelievable level. I am really happy for Chase. He has been working and has been shooting for months really, but for whatever reason he has not been as fortunate and tonight his fortune followed him, and all of his hard work paid off.”
Hunter finished the night 6 of 14 from the field and had a season-high five three-pointers on nine attempts.
After the game, Brownell spoke to reporters about his team’s win.
