Big News for Tee Higgins

There is a major development with former Clemson great Tee Higgins.  The franchise tag made it appear former Clemson Tiger Tee Higgins was staying in Cincinnati, but that won’t be the case.

Higgins is requesting a trade from the Bengals after four strong seasons with the team, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

According to Schefter’s report, Higgins hoped to stay in Cincinnati but the lack of a long-term deal has made it turn sour. Higgins had 257 catches for 3,684 yards and 24 touchdowns as a Bengal.

The franchise tag was expected to pay Higgins $21.8 million next season but the trade request means he’s looking for an extended contract elsewhere.
