Clemson Basketball Player Enters Portal

The Clemson men’s basketball team is losing this player to the NCAA transfer portal.

Sophomore guard Josh Beadle has entered the portal, The Clemson Insider has confirmed.

Beadle played in 32 games this past season, averaging 10.8 minutes per game. He averaged 3.0 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game while shooting 47.3 percent from the field (35-of-74), 68.8 percent from the free-throw line (22-of-32) and 14.3 percent from 3 (3-of-21).

Overall across his two seasons at Clemson (2022-23, 2023-24), the Columbia, S.C., native averaged 2.6 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game while averaging 11.8 minutes in 65 games (two starts).

A former three-star prospect, according to 247Sports and Rivals, Beadle won back-to-back SCISA Class 3A championships at Cardinal Newman and eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his career there. He chose Clemson over Wake Forest and VCU when he committed to the Tigers in June 2020.
