Brody Keefe has quickly become one of the more sought-after receivers in the 2026 recruiting class.
The 4-star prospect, out of Charlotte (Myers Park), is already approaching the two-dozen offer mark and has been on Clemson’s radar for quite some time, with Keefe last visiting in March for the Elite Junior Day.
Getting to sit in and watch film with wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham was one of the things that really stood out about the visit, as it allowed Keefe an opportunity to see if the two were on the same page.
“The visit was great, really,” Keefe told The Clemson Insider. “A lot of guys I play with were there too, so it was cool to experience it with them. Getting to sit in and watch film with coach Grisham was probably the best part. I really like to see if I’m on the same page with coaches and we definitely are.”
Keefe came away from the visit believing Grisham is the kind of coach that is capable of helping develop him for the next level.
“He’s such a great person and a solid coach,” he said. “I like him a lot and think he could definitely help me be the best player I could be.”
Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Ohio State are some of the other schools that have been recruiting Keefe the hardest. Grisham wants Keefe to come and work out at camp in June and the wideout is trying to see if he can work that out.
Whether or not he makes it to camp, Keefe already knows enough about Dabo Swinney’s program to have a lot of respect for how the Tigers do things. He has an off the field relationship with former running back Will Shipley and sees how he was prepared for life after college football.
“I think Clemson’s program is authentic,” Keefe said. “What you see is what you get. There’s not a lot of selling. They have the numbers to back up what they say. And they truly care about more than football. Will Shipley and I train with the same guys and I know from him that it’s a place that develops the whole person and really prepares you for what’s next.”
The Tigers won’t start handing out 2026 offers until June, and Keefe said that if he were to get that phone call from Clemson, it’s an offer that would be special.
“It would be an honor,” Keefe said. “Not many people are offered by them so it would mean that I passed not only the football test but the character test too. They put a lot of weight on who you are, not just what you do. It would be huge.”
