Current Clemson commit Tae Harris has accepted an invitation to play in the 2025 Polynesian Bowl.
The 4-star safety (Cedartown, GA) committed to the Tigers back in the spring after having decommitted from Georgia in January. Harris had close to two dozen offers in total, including LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and South Carolina.
“I’m beyond blessed to showcase my talents in the Polynesian bowl,” Harris told The Clemson Insider. “I’m not worried about anything but getting better. I get to show everyone across the planet why I’m the best safety in the country.”
As a junior, Harris logged 44 tackles, three forced fumbles and six pass breakups. He also added more than 600 yards from scrimmage on the offensive side of the ball.
Harris is one of 13 commitments for the Tigers in the current recruiting class that On3 ranks No. 6 in the country. He is widely considered a Top 50 talent overall and one of the five-best safeties in the country.
“Go Tigers,” Harris added.
