The AP Top 25 Poll was released Tuesday after Week 1 of the college football season concluded with Monday night’s Labor Day game.
Clemson (0-1) is still ranked in the AP Poll, albeit barely. The Tigers fell all the way to No. 25 in the AP Poll following the 34-3 loss to No. 1 Georgia this past Saturday. Clemson entered the season ranked No. 14.
Following a tightly contested first half that featured eight punts and only six points, Georgia dominated over the final two quarters, outscoring Clemson 28-3 en route to a lopsided victory in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Clemson will look to bounce back in its home opener this Saturday against Appalachian State. Kickoff for the contest at Memorial Stadium is set for 8 p.m. ET on ACC Network.
