In his final media availability of the week on Wednesday evening following Clemson’s practice, head coach Dabo Swinney was asked for the latest on the injury status of two starters — sophomore defensive lineman Peter Woods and sophomore wide receiver Tyler Brown.

Swinney said both players are “still day-to-day.”

“Getting better,” Swinney added.

Saturday’s game between No. 21 Clemson (1-1) and NC State (2-1) at Death Valley is set to kick off at noon and will be nationally televised on ABC.
