Could Peter Woods, Tyler Brown Return Next Week?

Could Clemson return these two starters for next Saturday’s game?

Following the 21st-ranked Tigers’ 59-35 victory over NC State on Saturday at Death Valley, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney was asked if sophomore defensive lineman Peter Woods and sophomore receiver Tyler Brown may be available to play next week against Stanford.

“Yeah. I think there’s a good chance,” Swinney said.

Woods and Brown both missed Saturday’s game against the Wolfpack.

Woods suffered an injury early in the second quarter vs. App State on Sept. 7, when Woods was chop blocked below the knees, while Brown left early in the App State game with an ankle injury.

Clemson (2-1) will conclude its current three-game homestand next Saturday, Sept. 28 when the Tigers face Stanford on Homecoming. The game is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.
