Williams-Lee was at one time committed to NC State, but would back off that verbal pledge on September 24. Almost immediately, he announced an offer from Clemson and was then on campus for the Tigers’ blowout win over Stanford.
The 6-foot-2, 290 pound defensive tackle also had offers from Oklahoma and Texas Tech, among others.
Williams-Lee becomes the 14th member of a class that is currently ranked inside the Top 20 at 247Sports.
