The latest AP Top 25 Poll was released Sunday after Week 9 of the college football season.
Clemson, which was idle during its open date this weekend, dropped down to No. 11 in the updated AP Poll. Clemson is tied with Iowa State for that No. 11 ranking.
The Tigers (6-1, 5-0 ACC) were previously ranked No. 9 in the AP Poll following their 48-31 victory over Virginia on Oct. 19 at Memorial Stadium.
Following its second of two scheduled open dates for the 2024 regular season, Clemson returns to action against Louisville at Death Valley this Saturday, Nov. 2.
Kickoff for that contest is set for 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
The Cardinals (5-3, 3-2 ACC) are coming off a 31-27 win at Boston College this past Friday.
