Louisville Defense Plays Extremely Physical

CLEMSON – Earlier this week, the media got to sit down and talk with Clemson starting offensive lineman Walker Parks, as the 11th-ranked Tigers get set to host Louisville Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.

–Parks on the physicality and will to win that Louisville’s defense plays with. “Yeah, absolutely their aggression and honestly. I have watched a couple games like I watched them play Boston College because I went back home and had some free time, and I will give props to them they know how to finish. This is a very gritty team. They did not give up they did not change their attitude or anything… no lack of performance on them.”

–On finishing the job that has been started, Parks says the Tigers are in a good spot, just have to get better week by week. “I think we have improved a ton. I think you know better every week is a goal and that is what you know. You play different levels of opponents every week, so it is not that there are easy games it is just different styles, different schemes of teams that you play that we match up better against or something like that.”

–The rumor is that Walker Parks was going to come back for another season with the Tigers, he seemed to clear up any confusion. “That is fully my plan now I have got another year of eligibility, so I have no intentions of leaving. I love this place. I love this team and, like I said, I would play here forever if they would let me. So, I think they are going to give me another year so I will take it.”
