Following No. 11 Clemson’s upset, 33-21 loss to Louisville at Death Valley on Saturday night, Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney commented on Peter Woods’ injury.
The star sophomore defensive lineman left Saturday’s game with an injury. He was taken to the locker room in the second quarter and later came out of the locker room without his helmet on.
Swinney was asked during his postgame press conference if he knows the extent of Woods’ injury.
“Nope, I don’t,” Swinney said.
Swinney also said he doesn’t know the extent of the injury sustained by defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart.
Clemson (6-2, 5-1 ACC) will return to action next Saturday at Virginia Tech. The game is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN.
