CLEMSON — This freshman on the Clemson men’s basketball team is set to redshirt.
Ahead of tonight’s season opener against Charleston Southern, Clemson’s availability report indicated that Dallas Thomas – a former four-star and top-100 national prospect in the 2024 class, according to multiple recruiting services — intends to redshirt.
A native of Little Rock, Ark., Thomas chose Clemson over Arkansas, LSU, Memphis and Missouri.
As a junior at Parkview Magnet, the 6-foot-9, 180-pound forward nearly averaged a double-double with 16.5 points and 9.4 rebounds along with 2.3 assists and 2.1 blocks. He was named to the SBLive Arkansas All-State Second Team.
Tonight’s game between Clemson and Charleston Southern at Littlejohn Coliseum is set to tip off at 7 p.m.
