PITTSBURGH – After going down with an injury on the very first offensive play against Pitt, true freshman Elyjah Thurmon’s season could be over.

As Clemson was heading into the locker room with a 17-7 lead over the Panthers, head coach Dabo Swinney told ESPN sideline reporter Molly McGrath that Thurmon was “likely ” out for the year. Today was Thurmon’s first career start.

It is a devastating blow for an offensive line that is already down two starters on Saturday.
