CLEMSON – Clemson was hopeful that veteran DeMonte Capehart would return for the No. 12 Tigers final regular season game against the No. 15 Gamecocks and it looks like they just might have their starting defensive tackle.
Capehart, who has been out since going down with an injury in the loss to Louisville, is wearing his cleats and getting stretched out during early pregame routines here at Death Valley.
He was working one-on-one with the trainers.
The graduate senior started six of the first eight games of the season while recording 20 tackles.
Kickoff is at noon and the game will be televised on ESPN.
