CLEMSON – Clemson has suffered its first portal defection.

A report surfaced on Tuesday evening that wideout Troy Stellato plans to enter the portal when it opens next week. The Clemson Insider has now confirmed the report.

The redshirt junior has 65 career catches and for more than 600 yards with two touchdowns. This season he had 25 catches for 264 yards with one touchdown.

Stellato has missed the past two games after injuring a thumb and was not expected to return this season. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
