A former Clemson defender is back in the portal.
Former Tiger defensive end David Ojiegbe announced Monday that he has entered the NCAA transfer portal with three years of eligibility remaining.
Ojiegbe played this season for the Pitt Panthers. He enrolled at Pitt in January 2024 following his transfer from Clemson after one year with the Tigers in 2023.
Prior to first entering the portal in December 2023, Ojiegbe logged 11 snaps over two games while redshirting as a true freshman last season. He made his college debut vs. Charleston Southern and saw action vs. Florida Atlantic.
A former four-star prospect from St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C., Ojiegbe committed to Clemson in April 2022 and enrolled in the summer of 2023.
The 6-foot-3, 250-pounder was ranked by ESPN as the No. 250 overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting class.
Ojiegbe played in 10 games at Pitt this season, posting five tackles (one for loss) and one sack.
