A Clemson walk-on turned scholarship player has entered the transfer portal for a second time.
Quarterback Hunter Helms spent three years as a Tiger, appearing in nine games with 218 passing yards and two touchdowns. Following the 2023 season, Helms transferred to Rhode Island where he helped the Rams win a CAA Championship with a 61.4 completion percentage, 1270 passing yards alongside five touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Helms has now re-entered the portal according to his account on X, formerly Twitter.
