Tyler Merrill has trimmed his list down to a group of finalists.’
The 4-star OL (Cumberland Valley, PA) released his Top 5 on Sunday, with Clemson, Penn State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Ohio State all making the cut.
The 6-foot-6, 325-pound prospect picked up his offer from the Tigers last June after an impressive showing at camp. In total, he has well over two dozen offers.
“I am highly impressed,” Merrill told TCI in a previous interview. “Definitely not what I expected coming into this. I can tell why Coach Swinney is there and why he believes, it’s an awesome place.”
Merrill last visited for home-opening blowout win over App State in September. Offensive line coach Matt Luke paid him an in-home visit last week.
Merrill is the No. 2 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania, No. 7 interior offensive lineman nationally and No. 87 overall prospect in the country for the 2026 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
