Highly-Touted QB Sets Spring Visit to Clemson

One of the top quarterbacks in the 2027 recruiting class has set his next visit to Clemson.

Four-star signal-caller Trent Seaborn (Thompson, Alabaster, AL) tells The Clemson Insider that he will visit on March 7.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound quarterback already has close to 30 offers, with many of the bigger football programs across the country having pulled the trigger. The Tigers won’t start offering 2027 prospects until the summer, but schools such as Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, LSU, Oregon and South Carolina are just a few to have already offered.

The highly-touted quarterback visited Alabama and South Carolina in recent weeks before the start of the dead period that is currently in place.

Seaborn has long been considered one of the top quarterbacks in his class and at a recent Under Armor event in Atlanta the blue-chip talent only solidified that status by taking home the QB MVP Award.

Seaborn is also a former teammate of current defensive lineman Peter Woods.

“Peter and I were teammates at Thompson, and we won a state championship his senior year,” Seaborn told TCI in a previous interview. “I’m so lucky to have been able to call him a teammate. He is someone I look up to for how hard he works off the field despite being the most talented player on the field.”

As a sophomore, Seaborn threw for 2,675 yards with 26 touchdowns to seven interceptions. He also added another 256 yards via his legs.

247Sports ranks the talented quarterback No. 93 overall and No. 9 among all players at his position.
