Swinney Gives Injury Updates on Green, Lukus, Parks

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media on Friday afternoon before the Tigers officially began spring practice.

Swinney gave injury updates on some key players, including redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Stephiylan Green, senior cornerback Jeadyn Lukus and sixth-year offensive lineman Walker Parks.

All three are among the players who will be out for the spring, according to Swinney.

“He had a sports hernia surgery, so he’s doing great and working his way back,” Swinney said of Green. “So he’ll be out.”

Both Lukus and Parks had to have shoulder cleanup procedures.

“Jeadyn Lukus, we cleaned his shoulder up. Some of these guys were just postseason things that we knew we were going to have to do all season,” Swinney said.

“Walker Parks, same thing – we had to do a cleanup on his shoulder.”
