Clemson’s top cornerback target has scheduled four official visits for the summer.

4-star Samari Matthews named his four finalists at the end of Janaury, with Clemson, Oregon, Florida State and South Carolina each making the cut.

Matthews has now scheduled four official visits for June, but Oregon is not on the list. Instead, Matthews will take an official to Texas.

• Clemson: May 30 to June 1
• Florida State: June 6-8
• Texas: June 13-15
• South Carolina: June 20-22

Matthews has been a frequent visitor to Clemson over the past year, with the last one coming in November when the Tigers hosted Louisville. He has already confirmed with TCI his plans to attend the Elite Retreat on March 8.

“Clemson is high on my list,” Matthews recently told TCI. “Very high.”

The 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back has well over three dozen offers and was the first player in the 2026 recruiting class to announce an offer from the Tigers.

The 247 Composite ranks Matthews No. 57 overall, No. 5 among all corners and No. 7 in the state of North Carolina.
