Bakich Following Tigers’ Game 2 win over Notre Dame

CLEMSON — Clemson head coach Erik Bakich spoke to The Clemson Insider following Saturday’s 11-7 victory over Notre Dame in Game 2 of the weekend series.

The win allowed the 10th-ranked Tigers to clinch the series over the Irish.

Clemson tallied 12 hits, including five extra base hits, as it recorded a double, two triples and two home runs. The Tigers have won 17 straight games.

Cam Cannarella led the Tigers (19-1, 2-0 ACC) with a 3-for-4 day at the plate which included three RBIs. They also got a 2-for-5 performance from Tryston McCladdie, as he recorded a triple and a home run.

Dominic Listi was 2-for-4 with an RBI double, while Josh Paino and Jacob Jarrell were credit with two RBIs each. Paino’s came by way of a two-run home run in the bottom of the third inning.
