CLEMSON — Clemson head coach Brad Brownell met with the media following Sunday’s NCAA Tournament Selection Show.

The 10th-ranked Tigers learned they are the No. 5 seed in the Midwest Regional and will play No. 12 seed McNeese State (27-6) in Providence, R.I. on Thursday in the first round.

This marks the fifth time under Brownell and second consecutive season Clemson has advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers will be making their 15th tournament appearance overall.

Clemson enters the game with a 27-6 record.
